Methods of payment accepted in office are cash, check, debit ($2 convenience fee) and credit card (MasterCard, Discover or Visa with a convenience fee of 2.25% of the transaction total plus $1.50). The Treasurer’s Office serves as an agent of the Iowa Department of Transportation and the Iowa Department of Revenue.

These services include, but are not limited to: transfer of ownership (title transfers), collection of registration fees (license/plate validation fees), registration refunds, replacement titles, notation and cancellation of security interests (liens), storage of vehicles and junking certificate issuance. The County Treasurer's Office is responsible for all motor vehicle transactions. Vehicle registration renewal can be done by renewing on-line at mailing payment into the office, or by dropping at the courthouse drop box which is located outside on the north side of the Courthouse.
